I am a solicitor who has undergone further training to qualify as a notary public which enables me to authenticate documents and transactions so that they are effective in countries outside England & Wales.
I provide a service for commercial organisations engaged in international trade, and for private individuals who want to buy or sell property overseas or who apply to marry or work abroad.
You can use me to authenticate and certify signatures on documents or to certify copies of documents that require a notary public’s stamp. I can also obtain apostilles and legalisation by an embassy.
My fees are very competitive. And I make no extra charge for visiting you at your home or workplace to carry out the work. Evening visits are also available.

Use me to:
- certify copies of passports and other personal documents
- witness and certify signatures on documents
- certify a person’s authority to sign documents
- oversee the proper execution or signing of any document that is to be used abroad and, if required, to confirm that it is binding in English law

- witness and authenticate signatures on powers of attorney for the purchase or sale of foreign property or the administration of estates of people who own property abroad
- authenticate documents to support opening branch offices abroad
- certify copies of university degrees or professional qualifications for those wanting to work abroad
- witness affidavits and statutory declarations that must be signed before a notary public
- prepare declarations of single status when getting married abroad
- draw up permission to let one parent or a grandparent travel abroad with children
In addition to having your document notarised, you may also have been asked to have it legalised. Legalisation is the process by which the signature and personal seal of a notary are authenticated by the Foreign Office and/or the Embassy or Consulate of the country in which the document is to be used. I can arrange to obtain apostilles and legalisation at foreign embassies for you.
